Mariposa Grove and Wawona

This is a great tour if you want to do some more hiking in Mariposa Grove. If you do not want to hike you can remain in the Lower Grove and relax amongst the giants. You will also visit Wawona where you will walk through the Pioneer History Center and beautiful covered bridge. A picnic lunch is included that you will enjoy in a comfortable scenic location. Choose between a moderate 2.3-mile hike on the Grizzly Giant Loop in the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias or a relaxed stroll in the Lower Grove and relax on the benches that line the beautiful boardwalks among these amazing trees.

Visit the Wawona area and see the historic Wawona Hotel. Do a walking tour of the Pioneer History Center, walk through the covered bridge, and enjoy views of the Merced River.
