DAY TOURS OF YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

A great experience! They were able to help book us last minute (the morning of) after our other tour company cancelled on us. We were on the fence about doing a tour or trying to see the park by ourselves. Do the tour ! You see all the main highlights with plenty of time to get off the bus and explore on your own within each area. It is the perfect balance. While on the bus you learn tidbits and facts about the area and the park. Highly recommend!

Just completed a wonderful day touring with Jarrett. He is a Bass Lake local and he was an excellent tour guide for my family of 10 (83, 82, 58, 57, 23, 20, 44,45, 8, 10). We ALL had a great day - He was very well versed on the geology of the valley as well as the interesting lifecycle of the trees and the local history of both the surrounding towns and the park. We also thoroughly enjoyed his tour highlights, family friendly "hikes" and options for the day exploring. He has been hiking the park/area for many years and continues to do so with his family, so it was great for the kids in our group to climb around lesser crowded areas and feel "special". Highlights noted from our family group: seeing the Ansel Adams photo site, the secret Sequia (hiding in plain site), explaining the brass contour maps, noting the old stagecoach trail, personal stories of his experiences on the trails, "Where's Waldo" (ask him), additionally, he wasn't pushy and seemed more like a friend showing us around vs. a regular tourguide. Highly recommend him.

we had the best private tour EVER with tyler!! my entire family was in the area for mine and my (now) husbands wedding and booked a full day tour. he was so knowledgeable about the area and was able to show us all the best stops and facts about the area. he accommodated all of our requests - including my search for my national park passport stamp and my best friends request to stop at every creek we passed. i never would have known that some of the trees had bark that smell like vanilla or butterscotch - some of the other locals we talked with didn’t even know that! it was such an amazing day with my entire family and tyler’s knowledge and kindness was a huge factor in the success of the day. out of the whole wedding week, it was definitely still one of the highlights for everyone! i would definitely recommend them to anyone if you’re interested in having the best tour guide ever 💖

We cannot recommend Discover Yosemite highly enough! We did the all day tour and it was the absolute grand finale highlight of our week long Northern California vacation. It was expertly organized, with prompt pickup at our hotel door. Snacks, water and a nice bag lunch were provided. We saw every single sight at the park possible, including El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point and so much more. There was plenty of time at the stops to see everything at a relaxed pace without any feeling of being rushed. One of the best things about the day was our driver/guide Chad. What an absolute joy he is! And maybe he most knowledgeable young man I’ve ever met. He made the day SO ENJOYABLE! He even stopped at El Cap and let us get out and use binoculars he provided to watch climbers going up the rock face. He also gave us tips and pointers for our photography to make our photos the best they can be. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and appreciated guests, even getting off the bus at each drop off to personally say goodbye to every guest. I would personally ask for him again if I ever come back to Yosemite. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience! *Wear comfy shoes, although the walking wasn’t strenuous. I did about 7.7K steps from pickup to drop off. *There was also plenty of time for gift shop shopping during the lunch break. *Also, the government shutdown didn’t affect a single aspect of our fantastic day.

Absolute pleasure to drive around with Grant. He was very friendly and knowledge of Yosemite. My wife and I had a blast and we would recommend these tours to anyone!

My husband and I chose Yosemite for our honeymoon, and it was our first time visiting. so booking a tour was definitely the right choice. We went with Discovery Yosemite and had an amazing experience with our driver and guide, Phillip Ireland. He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He took us to Mariposa Grove, where we learned all about the majestic sequoia trees, and then to Tunnel View, absolutely breathtaking. We explored Yosemite Valley and even visited the “swinging bridge” (which, as Phillip joked, doesn’t actually swing—lol). His sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable! Saw beautiful waterfalls. Another place was Glacier Point. Along the way, we got to see El Capitan, and Phillip brought out his binoculars and telescope so we could watch the climbers scaling the granite walls—such a unique touch. The tour covered so much and gave us the perfect overview, which really helped us feel confident exploring on our own the next day. The park is massive—it can take about four hours to drive from one end to the other—so having a guide to show us the highlights was invaluable. We highly recommend Discovery Yosemite, especially if it’s your first visit and you’re not sure where to begin. The scenery is otherworldly, and we’re already planning to come back next year!

Went for a tour today of the fabulous Yosemite National Park. Tyler picked us up from our hotel in a very clean comfortable mini bus. He was a very good professional driver who clearly knew the roads. He was an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable about the whole area. Always made sure to point out the restrooms and which ones to avoid. Offered snacks and water throughout the tour. The provided lunch was very nice. Ask Tyler to see his own made postcards, a very talented photographer. Thank you very much.

First time at Yosemite and it was great! Tyler was our tour guide and he was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable! He made sure to point out the bathrooms at each stop, had cold waters handy, was a good driver and even an extra charging cord that I could borrow! We had a great time
